High-Angle is a student publication dedicated to the serious film enthusiast. Published by Hofstra University, High-Angle incorporates interviews, articles, analysis, reviews, ‘on assignment’ coverage, information on campus film events/shooting schedules, and topical cinema news. It's first issue is currently in production, with a release expected in late November. Check back here for more updates as the magazine takes shape: we plan on eventually providing .pdfs of the finished articles on this page.

High-Angle is currently accepting submissions for its first issue. We are seeking talented, incisive, and interesting articles from people who are passionate about film. Criticism, analysis, interpretation, interviews, and more are needed. If you are interested in joining High-Angle or submitting content, look for our Facebook group, speak to Professor McKim, or email the editor at asanso1 AT pride.hofstra.edu. Meetings are typically held Wednesdays during Common Hour (11:15) in Dempster Hall. Outside submissions are accepted on a case-by-case basis. All content is the intellectual property of its authors.
